The HPE Records Manager (HPERM) Connector powered by FYB Pty Ltd is a connector built to enable the transfer of generated documentation and metadata from Intelledox Infiniti directly into HPE Records Manager.
This connector has been developed using the newest HPE RM .NET SDK and supports versions 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3 of HPE Records Manager.
The connector allows you to place a ‘Send to HPERM’ action within your Project.
From this Send to HPERM Action you are able to do the following:
Create Electronic Documents in HPERM
Once a document is generated with Infiniti you can have this document automatically registered into HPERM via the Send to HPERM Action.
With the connector for HPERM new fields are available for mapping, these include the Alternative Container, Client and a ‘Blank Record’ field.
It also includes all fields previously available in the TRIM Connector.
Create Blank Records in HPERM
Where the term ‘Blank Records’ is referred to this was designed with the idea of being able to create a folder (or container) when registering a document. Effectively giving you the ability to make a record in HPERM that isn’t an electronic document such as a folder/container or other record type you may choose to contain your generated documents on.
A reason you may be required to use a Blank Record is when generating a document through Intelledox Infiniti, you want to save to a specific folder within HPERM that wasn’t yet created. There is no requirement to create the folder first making it a two-step process.
The FYB Intelledox Connector will create the folder via one action and then the second action will attach the generated document to the folder created in the first action.
Update Record Metadata/Update Revision in HPERM
The FYB Intelledox Connector will allow you to update the metadata (properties) of any record.
Also providing you with the ability to update as a revision of an existing document in HPERM. This is controlled through the attributes available for you in the Send to HPERM Action Properties for you Project.
